Framed original "Macintosh. The shortest distance from inspiration to reality" boat poster

This is a rare promotional poster from the estate of an Apple salesman who worked at a computer store in Little Rock for many years. Probably nobody you know has one. The only way to have one was to have been an Apple® Macintosh™ dealer in 1990, to have signed up for the promotional poster, and to somehow have stored it after the promotional period ended. This item was owned by an avid Apple® Macintosh™ salesman from that period, and I got it from his widow. The framed poster weighs 17.5kg / 38.6lb and is about the size of a 65" TV. The glass floating frame is about 57.6 inches (145.6cm) wide by 27 inches (68.5cm) tall. The poster itself is 50 inches wide by 20 inches tall.

It was stored in a closet from sometime the 1990s until 2021 when the house was renovated. It appears to have been professionally mounted on foam-board and pressed between two panes of glass in a sturdy aluminum display frame. This poster appears to be in mint condition. No wrinkles, fading or discoloration anywhere. There are no fold-lines or imperfections in the art. There is some dust inside the glass frame; I made no attempt to disassemble the frame to clean it, but it looks like it could be carefully disassembled with a slotted screwdriver.

In attempting to find how common this poster is, I found there are at least two more like it per this Pinterest post which references one, and a commenter states that she has one. The Computer History Museum catalogues one. eMeuseum catalogues a different poster from the same 1990 campaign and lists the artist as Jan Davis and the photographer as Michael Furman. WorthPoint lists one as "Sail boat keel designed on a Macintosh" (although requires an account required to see what it sold for.) There are none that I can find listed or sold on eBay.

The frame is a glass float/floating frame; very heavy and sturdy but not hermetically sealed. Could not have been cheap even in 1990.
